Nice shot, as with the Vulture kill the highlights and raise the shodows. If being really picky I would say remove the half of elephant on the left side, it does not bother me but some judges it will, you could always claim the other half is leaving the frame on the right.

Bit unsure on this one as the light is coming from the right and front paw is obscured by the grass. If you had got further left so in front of it and taken a full face shot with a 14mm wide angle lens that would have made a great action shot.

Hooded Vulture, if you use Lightroom or Camera Raw what I would do is lower the highlights and increase the shadows. Then using the auto mask slightly dsrkn the backbround so the bird is very prominent
