It nests like most solitary bees or wasp in this case, at one stage I lost sight of it and then I noticed it crawling out of the top of a bamboo pole. I then found out that they live in small holes in wood or in places like bug hotels. Also I knew it was Mexican ( here comes a Peter joke) because it had a sombrero on its head. Sorry.
