The next Network fieldtrip is to WWT Welney Wetland Centre Welney to photograph Swansa of all kinds and lots more.

WWT Welney Wetland Centre is in Norfolk and includes 1,000 acres of the northernmost part of the Ouse Washes – Britain’s largest area of seasonally-flooded land and the setting for one of the most magical events in the UK’s nature calendar - mass winter gatherings of many thousands of wild ducks, geese and swans. Rendezvous Time? 10.00-10.15am in the car park adjacent to the entrance.
Costs? Entrance fee – adults £7.00 including a donation, concessions £6.00 and Carers free. There is free parking close to the main entrance.

Comments Tripod, warm clothing and a long lens all essential. Access to the hides is good, toilets are
100 mtrs from the hides and there is a reasonably-priced, good quality café on site.
